Hey guys! I’m in the process of migrating Tulle and Trinkets to a self-hosted WordPress blog. It’s something I’ve been hemming and hawing over doing for a year now and decided it’s time to go for it. Things might be quiet around here this week as I work everything out, but I’m hoping for an easy and seamless transition (fingers crossed!). I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to transfer my WordPress.com and Email followers over, but am not 100% sure, so hopefully I won’t lose anyone! (By the way, if you happen to know how to do this, please, please let me know!)

Congrats on the big move to self-hosting! If I ever have as many followers as you I may do it as well. I believe WordPress offers 100% free support for anyone using wordpress.org (which you will get switched to). Good luck, and if I don’t see anything from you in a few days, I will re-subscribe!

I just moved from wordpress.com to a Go Daddy domain and hosting through wordpress…it was a big mess and I lost everything due to Go Daddy! I hope the same doesn’t happen to you, it was such a mess!
